Horse riding has become one of the places where I feel most like myself. It gives me freedom, peace, and a quietness that is hard to find in everyday life. And being able to feel all of that here, in Essaouira, makes it even more special.

That's why I created this retreat: a space for Muslim women to come as they are, connect with horses, discover Essaouira, and share meaningful moments together. Not just a holiday, a chance to leave feeling lighter, more confident, and more connected to yourself.

Welcome to our 6-Day Intermediate Horse Riding Retreat in Essaouira, made for Muslim women confident at walk, trot, and canter, ready for a true horseback adventure.

Ride through argan forests, dunes, and wild Atlantic beaches, with picnic lunches, a sunset beach ride, a traditional hammam, and time to explore Essaouira. Relax in our private women-only villa with homemade meals and a beautiful circle of sisters.

Your Journey in Essaouira

Day 1 — Welcome to Essaouira

Airport arrival and transfer to our private villa, where you'll settle in with Moroccan tea and snacks. Our private chef prepares a delicious dinner as everyone gets to know each other, followed by a warm welcome circle to share stories and intentions for the week.Tomorrow, you'll finally meet the horses.

Day 2 — Full Day + Picnic until Sunset (time in the saddle 5-6h)

After breakfast at the villa, our private chauffeur will take us to the stables in Diabat, just outside Essaouira. where you'll meet your horse before beginning our unforgettable Full Day + Picnic until Sunset (11:00–Sunset). Back at the villa: showers, prayer, and dinner together.

Day 3 — Full Day + Picnic & Hammam day (time in the saddle 4-5h)

A slow breakfast, followed by a full day of riding and picnic (10:00–16:00). After the ride, unwind with a traditional hammam and massage, then enjoy a relaxed evening at the villa with dinner and sister circle.

Day 4 — Discover Essaouira & Yoga

A slow morning, then time to explore the Medina, with free time to shop and wander. Back at the villa for lunch, then relax by the pool or join a yoga session.

Day 5 — Sunset Ride & Dinner Outside (time in the saddle 2h)

A pool morning and sisterhood circle, with time to rest before our final sunset beach ride. The day closes with an outdoor dinner by the beach and fire, tea, laughter, and our closing circle.

Day 6 — Goodbye

Enjoy your final breakfast together at the private villa. After check-out, our driver will be ready to take you to the airport according to your flight time. You'll leave with beautiful memories, new confidence, and sisters you may carry with you long after Morocco.

Before You Arrive

We believe every guest deserves a personal experience.

That's why we'll meet before the retreat on a video call, answer your questions, and introduce you to the other women through our private WhatsApp group, so when you arrive in Morocco, it already feels like coming home.

Essaouira, where the ocean meets adventure.

Essaouira is one of Morocco’s most beautiful coastal towns. It’s a relaxed, welcoming city known for its friendly locals, peaceful atmosphere, and strong sense of safety.

November is one of my favourite times of yearthe, summer crowds are gone, the town feels calmer, and you can enjoy the beaches, Medina, horses, and sunsets at a slower pace.

Our villa is fully private and surrounded by argan trees, so no one can see in. It's hijabi-friendly and made for you to feel completely comfortable, with a heated pool and a calm, peaceful atmosphere to pray, rest, and reconnect with yourself.

Single Bed in a Twin Shared Room

You'll share a comfortable twin room with your own bed, alongside another sister or a friend you're travelling with. The room has its own en-suite bathroom.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that I am not a travel agency or tour operator, but rather the host and organiser of this retreat. Because of this, I unfortunately cannot offer refunds for cancellations once your spot has been booked, as payments are used to secure the villa, horses, meals, transportation, guides, and retreat activities.

For your own peace of mind, I highly recommend purchasing independent travel insurance, as well as flight cancellation insurance if available in your country. These policies are often quite affordable and can help cover unexpected situations that may prevent you from attending the retreat or travelling as planned.

If you can no longer attend and there is another sister who would like to take your place, I am more than happy to transfer the booking into her name. Any payment arrangements between both parties would need to be handled privately between yourselves, and I will gladly update the reservation once confirmed.

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is for Muslim women looking to reconnect with themselves through horses, nature, and sisterhood. Whether you're coming alone or with a friend, you'll be welcomed into a supportive and inspiring community.

Do I need to come with a friend?

Not at all. Most women join on their own. We create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where strangers quickly become friends.

What riding level do I need?

This retreat is designed for intermediate riders who are confident at walk, trot, and canter. You should already feel comfortable in the saddle and be ready for longer rides, varied terrain, and a more adventurous riding experience.

Will I share a room?

Yes. Our private women-only villa offers comfortable shared rooms with two women per room. If you'd prefer more privacy, a limited number of private rooms are available for an additional fee.

Is the retreat women only?

Yes. Every part of the retreat is designed exclusively for women, creating a comfortable and supportive environment throughout your stay.

What airport should I fly to?

The easiest option is to fly into Essaouira Airport, where pickup and drop-off are completely free.

If you fly into Marrakech Airport, we can arrange your private transfer to Essaouira for $70 each way.

How do I reserve my place?

Just send your application through the form. I'll personally get back to you as soon as possible, first applications are looked at first, so the earlier you apply, the better.

Will we connect before the retreat?

Yes, we'll all meet on a Zoom call beforehand and open a WhatsApp circle, so we arrive already feeling like sisters. And we stay close long after you fly home.

Are flights included?

No, flights are not included.
